  1. Welcome to the > ALT+TAB Hotkey Add-On <

  3. If you work with more than one keyboard centric applications (word processors, 
  4. email clients or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems e. g. SAP) at once
  5. you probably use the ALT+TAB shortcut to switch between applications fast. But
  6. this keystroke is a one-way road: You can not use it to MINIMIZE the window
  7. again.  The ALT+TAB Hotkey Add-On (AHA) lets you do exactly this: 
  8. Minimize the currently active window or ALL open windows at once 
  9. with a free to choose hotkey or within the ALT+TAB sequence itself.

  11. For keyboard powerusers this can result in a surprising productivity gain.
  12.  
  13. People like Dilbert or Wally could also use the hotkeys as an "Emergency exit" 
  14. respectively "Panic button" to hide an application from your boss or 
  15. colleagues preying eyes if they look over your shoulders ;-)

  17. AHA is FREEWARE. It runs on Win 95, Win 98 and Win NT.

  30. How the ALT+TAB Hotkey Add-On works:

  33. With AHA, you have 3 ways to minimize the windows:
  34.  
  35. 1. Press the assigned hotkey combination e. g. ALT + A
  36. 2. Click on one of the two icons in the taskbar
  37. 3. Select one of the two AHA icons in the ALT+TAB sequence
  38.  
  39. The AHA main program (where you do the settings) resides in the
  40. tray. Double-Click on it to open it and press "Back to tray" to send
  41. it back to the tray. EXIT completly closes AHA and removes the 
  42. assigned hotkeys.

  44. If you like AHA, you probably want it to be there everytime your PC
  45. starts: If you select the Autostart option, AHA will start every
  46. time automatically.

  48. Remember, to press "Apply Changes" if you changed the settings.

  50. The software comes with an uninstall function that completely removes
  51. AHA from the PC if this should be ever neccessary.
